藝術家簡介：	李建中（1924~）山東煙台人，戰後台灣現代繪畫運動之開創者，也是台灣美術史的瑰寶。1949年遷居台北，1966年首以現代陰紋蠟染繪畫創作，自創新局驚艷台灣藝壇。曾組織並主持現代畫學會、擔任工業設計協會理事，兩度代表台灣參加巴西聖保羅國際雙年現代美展。李先生受過工業設計歷練，靈活應用多元媒材，前衛新潮的表現；七○年代更提出「移情論」繪畫思想，開創藝術創作的新境界。1978年旅居美國至今，仍持續創作不墜，個展無數。
